| The infamous festival hotpants |
There’s no avoiding the fact that the festival season is fast approaching again and, thanks to Kate Moss famously breaking out the hotpants a few years ago, dressing to impress is now as much a part of a festival as not washing for three days. Well, almost.
Obviously, we have the fashion covered at Viva; if you’ve picked up the new issue you’ll have already seen the festival style pages. Perfect for those of us who don’t quite pull off the denim hotpants like Mossy!

But we know that not all of you enjoy roughing it in a field in a tent barely big enough to contain your essentials, i.e., booze. Personally I’m not a massive fan of being anywhere I cant plug in my hairdryer, charge my Blackberry or sleep in something even slightly resembling a bed…and as for a mud bath? Unless it involves some kind of fancy spa, I'm not interested.
What I do love however, is the festival atmosphere. Anyone who has been to a festival knows that that’s ultimately what it’s about, being part of an amazing experience. Which is possibly why boutique and VIP camping have taken UK festivals by storm. A chance to soak up the festival atmosphere while knowing I can enjoy a hot shower and a decent bed at the end of the night? Bit more our style to be honest!
So in honour of this, and, strictly in the name of research you understand, the Viva team forced ourselves to check out some of the best “Glamping” packages available at festivals across the summer, just for all you gorgeous Viva readers, and give you a run down of the best-of-the-best in the new issue. So if you’re planning on hitting Glasto this summer, make sure you do it in style!!!
